For Photographers (Account Holders)

Name and email address (via Clerk authentication)
Event details (event name, date, venue)
Photos uploaded or imported from Google Drive

For Guests

Selfie images — used for AI-powered face matching
No account creation required for guests

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain our photo gallery service
To perform AI-powered face detection and matching using AWS Rekognition
To generate and serve photo thumbnails
To communicate with photographers about their account and events

4. Data Storage & Security

Photos are stored securely in Amazon S3 with encryption at rest. Face embeddings are stored in AWS Rekognition collections and are automatically deleted when an event is deleted. All data transfers are encrypted using TLS/SSL.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

AWS Rekognition — for face detection and matching
AWS S3 — for secure photo storage
Clerk — for photographer authentication
Google Drive API — for importing photos from Google Drive
Vercel — for hosting the web application
Supabase — for database hosting

6. Guest Privacy

Guest selfies are processed for face matching using AWS Rekognition. Guests do not need to create an account or provide any personal information.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Photographers can delete their events at any time, which permanently removes all associated photos, face indexes, and event data. When an account is deleted, all associated data is permanently removed.
